AMAWATERWAYS was founded in 2002 by Rudi Schreiner, a river cruise industry pioneer, along with Kristin Karst – cruise line executive and Jimmy Murphy – former owner of Brendan Worldwide Vacations. It is the newest and fastest growing fleet on the Danube, Rhine, Main and Mosel rivers. They currently have six vessels carrying approximately 150 passengers with the latest two debuting this year – 2011.
